DPIC Rules & Regulations for Students & Parents

Parental Co-operation
  • Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings are organized to strengthen coordination between parents and teachers.

  • Orientation programmes are also conducted to build harmony and understanding between home and school.

  • Parents are requested to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings regularly to stay informed about their ward’s progress.

  • Parents should check the School Diary every day and ensure that assigned work is completed.

  • Remarks made in the diary should be acknowledged and countersigned regularly.

  • Parents should carefully note all circulars and information sent by the school from time to time.

  • Parents are encouraged to participate actively and regularly in school activities.

  • No sick child should be sent to school with medicines to be taken during school hours.

  • The school must be informed immediately in case of any change in address or phone number.

  • All applications submitted to the school must be signed by the parents.

  • Parents are requested to acquaint themselves fully with the school’s rules and regulations and abide by them.

  • Parents are also expected to maintain cordial behaviour with the school staff.

  • A student may be rusticated if the required co-operation is not extended by the parents.

  • Parents and guardians are expected to comply with all school rules and co-operate fully for the welfare of their children.

Transfers
  • Students may be transferred from one branch to another on the request of parents, subject to the availability of seats.

  • Parents must submit an application addressed to the Principal with all required details.

  • The application will be forwarded to the Principal of the desired branch for consideration.

General Rules
  • Every student must follow the disciplinary rules and regulations of the institution to maintain school decorum.

  • Students must be punctual and attend the morning assembly regularly.

  • Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the class without the Principal’s permission.

  • Parents must provide accurate details in the application form at the time of admission.

  • Students must come to school in proper and complete uniform.

  • Students not in complete uniform will not be allowed to attend classes.

  • Wearing jewellery is not permitted.

  • Nails should always be kept trimmed.

  • The school is not responsible for the loss of books, watches, money, or other personal belongings.

  • Each student is responsible for his or her own belongings.

  • No student will be allowed to leave the school during school hours under any condition.

  • Parents or other visitors are not allowed to meet students or teachers during school hours without the Principal’s permission.

  • Students should bring their lunch and water bottle with them.

  • The Principal reserves the right to rusticate a student whose conduct is found unsatisfactory.

  • After assembly, students must proceed to their classes in an orderly manner.

  • Proper discipline and decorum must be maintained throughout school hours and at dispersal time.

  • Every student is expected to uphold the high standards of the school through conduct, discipline, manners, and commitment to studies and activities.

  • Students using their own conveyance must follow traffic rules for their safety.

  • Students are not allowed to ride two-wheelers without a valid driving licence and helmet.

  • Students are expected to participate in games, sports, debates, art competitions, essay competitions, quizzes, elocution, exhibitions, outdoor activities, and other co-curricular events organized by the school.

  • Students and parents must follow all government and school guidelines related to any pandemic or similar situation, whenever applicable.

  • It is mandatory for every parent or guardian to carry a verified Gate Pass while entering the school premises.

Laboratory Rules
  • The school has well-equipped laboratories for practical work in various sciences.

  • Laboratory equipment will be issued to students as per the rules laid down by the school.

  • No equipment may be taken out of the laboratory without written permission.

  • In case of any damage during practical lessons, the cost of repair will be borne by the student.

  • Any item issued from the laboratory must be returned before the Annual Examination.

  • A No Dues Certificate from the Science teachers must be submitted to the Class Teacher for the student to be allowed to appear in the Annual Examination.

School Identity Card
  • Students must carry their identity card at all times when coming to school.

  • The identity card must also be carried whenever a student is representing the school while in school uniform.

School Uniform
  • Details of the school uniform may be obtained from the school office.

  • No change in the colour or design of the prescribed uniform will be allowed.

Library Rules
  • Books will not be issued without a valid library card.

  • Books will be issued and returned only during the library period.

  • Reference books and fiction books are issued for one week.

  • If a borrowed book is damaged, torn, or has missing pages, the borrower will be held responsible and must replace it.

  • Students should check books before borrowing and report any damage immediately to the librarian.

  • If a book is lost, the borrower must replace it or pay the prescribed fine.

  • The Principal reserves the right to take action against a student for misusing the library or violating library rules.

  • A fine of Rs. 50 will be charged for overdue books, and the library card will be confiscated for one week.

  • A fine of Rs. 200 will be charged if the library card is lost or damaged.

  • Books are issued only to the borrower and must not be lent to anyone else.

  • All library books must be returned before the beginning of examinations.

  • Failure to return books on time may debar the student from appearing in the examination.

Conclusion
  • The Managing Body of the school reserves the right to add, amend, or waive any of the rules and regulations contained in the school prospectus without assigning any reason.

  • The interpretation of any rule contained in the prospectus rests solely with the Managing Body of the School.

  • Such interpretation shall be final and binding on parents, guardians, and students.

  • All disputes shall be subject to Agra jurisdiction only.
